My name is Mary Bennett, I am a needle felting artist and proud Nan of three, specialising in handcrafted felted figures and wool artwork. Using traditional needle felting techniques, I create carefully detailed pieces that are both unique and full of character. My work is inspired by nature, animals, and the beauty of handmade craftsmanship, with every piece thoughtfully created using high-quality natural fibres and great attention to detail.
Needle Felting
Needle Felting is the art of shaping sheeps wool, using a special barbed needle.
The needle is used to stab the wool, causing the fibres to felt together.
It takes 1000's and 1000's of stabs and many hours, days and sometimes even weeks, to finish a sculpture or wool painting.
